Climate Change And Plants
Climate Change can be defined as the change in temperature and weather patterns over a long period. These changes can be natural, but since the 1800s, human activities have been the main reason for changes in climate, due to the burning of fossil fuels like coal, which produces heat and different gases. Burning Coal, Oil, and Gases generates the greenhouse effect that, like a blanket encircling the Earth, the temperature rises.
Causes Of Climate Change and Global Warming
Natural Cause of Climate Change
A certain amount of climate change can occur naturally like ocean currents, the Earth’s orbital changes, solar radiations, and internal variability can change the pattern of warming and cooling of the Earth.
Climate Change Caused by Humans
Humans are the main cause of climate change and global warming, In the modern day humans are dependent on machines and technology, and all machines and technology are dependent on electricity or oil and gases, and a major part of the electricity is generated by oil, gases, and coal. Buring oil gases and coal cause carbon dioxide and chlorofluoro carbon, carbon dioxide creates a greenhouse effect, and chlorofluoro carbon damages the ozone layer which causes more sunlight and UV lights and temperature rise.
Transportation & Electricity Generation
The bikes, cars, trucks, ships, and planes that are used to transport humans and goods are a major source of global greenhouse gas emissions. Approximately 90% of Vehicles use oil and gas when oil and gas burn causes carbon dioxide and carbon dioxide creates a greenhouse effect, which causes more sun’s heat and temperature rise.
As a report of 2023, approximately 61% of electricity is generated by fossil fuels in the world which also cause more temperature and climate change the earth’s temperature rises by 1.5 degrees Celsius.
Industry & Manufacturing
Industries and manufacturing are also run by burning fossil fuels and their waste material also creates pollution.
Buildings & Deforestation
Buildings are killing agricultural land and forests and there are artificial environments air conditions, refrigerators, and heaters. Air conditions and refrigerators cool the inner system but outer environments become hot moreover they emit chlorofluoro carbon which damages the ozone layer.
Need of Plants For Earth
Plants are very important for the earth and human and animal survival, plants absorb carbon dioxide which is produced by man-made industries, and vehicles, and emit oxygen which is necessary for breathing. Less plants less rain and less fresh water for humans and animals are also plants.
